The Bayleys Paradise Coast Golf Classic- Golf Tournament Scores Unique Golf Prize

Local Golf Tournament Scores Unique Golf Prize

Even if you don’t play golf, chances are you have heard of the amazing new golf complex north of Auckland. Te Arai Links, Mangawhai Heads is a world top 10 golf course and the chance to play there is many golfers dream. The Bayleys Paradise Coast Golf Classic has secured two tees times which includes luxury accomodation and breakfast. This is the Bayleys Paradise Coast Golf Classic’s major prize. Chair of Enterprise Whangamata, the creators and organisers of the event, Patrick Kerr believes this is one of the best prizes in golf. “While it’s a large part of our $10,000 prize pool, we believe it will be a huge incentive for people to enter the PCGC”, said Patrick. “To that end, rather than reward the best gross or highest stableford we want to give everyone who enters the chance to win, so they’ll be a draw on the Sunday at Whangamata”.

The tournament has also decided to use the rest of it’s prize money pool to support local business’s and will start the door knocking on this in October.

Bayleys Paradise Coast Golf Classic is played over three local courses on The Coromandel- Pauanui Lakes Resort, Tairua and Whangamata. All courses are within a short drive from each other and offer a diverse range of challenges. There’s the long Lakes Resort course, the tight and tidy Tairua with it’s legendary ladies morning tea and of course the highly regarded Whangamata Course with its infamous water holes.
