The venue for the next Interprovincials
Next year’s New Zealand Interprovincial Championship for men will be staged north of Auckland at the Mangawhai Golf Club, pictured above.
Mangawhai is about a 1-1/2 hour drive from Auckland and the course is well known for having one of the toughest par fours in the country. The hole is No 2, it measures 387m from the championship tee and is a dog-leg.
The course also returns to the pro-am circuit on March 28. It will host the Partners Life Pro-Am.
Mangawhai Golf Club manager Steve Hinton heads a team that is working closely with Partners Life to ensure the success of the day.
“We’re delighted to have Partners Life on board,” Hinton said.
“They've really got behind the event and we look forward to this becoming an annual feature on the New Zealand Pro-Am calendar for years to come.’’
