COVIC Waiuku Report 16 August 2022

A great day of COVIC golf at Waiuku today with the threatening rain staying away. Colin Bava of Pukekohe (photo) claimed the Claret Jacket with a strong 38 points first place on a tough playing course, indicated by the fact that lucky prizewinners went all the way down to 29 points.

In The Challenge Gold Cup host club Waiuku beat holders Hauraki 39.5 to 32.5 points. And will now defend the Cup against Onewhero at Onewhero in the Finals Round 2 day on Friday 2nd September 2022. After a Card Audit the Finals Round 1 Shield and Plate results are:
