Josh Leitch (Maungakiekie) won the Men's Champion of Champions at the Windross Farm Golf Course November 2017. His victory was set up in the first round when he posted a superb 68 to be leading by one shot over Akarana's Timmy Tu and Remuera's Connor Barker. Leitch followed up with the equal best afternoon round of even par 71.

The Intermediate section was won by Onewhero's J.Ruddell on 81 stableford points over Royal Auckland's Paul Hain on 77 points. Local hope Mark Scott took out the Junior Division with 80 points over Akarana's Peter Collins on 78 points.

The Ron Lay Rosebowl team's event was won by hosts Windross Farm by one point over Akarana.
