30th and 31st January - block out these dates in your diary! Hastings Golf Club is currently accepting entries to their hugely popular Hastings Open tournament.

As one of the biggest events in the Hawke’s Bay golfing calendar, the Hastings Open attracts participants from all around New Zealand.

“If you haven’t been here before, we invite you to come and try Hastings Golf Club – this is an outstanding course, with impeccable playing conditions. The Hastings Open is a good excuse to come to Hawke’s Bay during our hot summer months, and enjoy the finest course in the region,” says Mike Piper, President of Hastings Golf Club.

The Hastings Open is a 54 Hole Stroke Play Amateur Championship, with men's and women's divisions, and incorporating NZ Golf Order of Merit. The tournament takes place on Saturday 30th January and Sunday 31st January, with a free practice round on 29th January.

The Club is delighted to have local sponsorship from Hastings RSA and also acknowledges continued sponsorship from Lion, who have a longstanding relationship with the Club. “We are thrilled with the sponsorship from Hastings RSA, and would like to thank them for their valuable support,” comments Mike.
