A believe or not from Donald Trump
A believe or not from Donald Trump
One of those believe it or not Donald Trump episodes has emerged recently from the United States.
A photo of Trump showed him with Ernie Els, Ken Duke, Gene Sauers and Mike Goodes following a hole in one he claimed to have scored on his course in West Palm Beach in Florida.
He actually issued a release confirming it happened on the 181-yard seventh hole saying it was 100 percent true and that “these great tour players saw it before I did.”
He then claimed their swings were no better than his and because he is a very modest person wouldn’t say who won because he would be accused of bragging and he doesn’t like braggers.
However Trump stretches the feat by seven times in an interview with Piers Morgan who upset Trump initially with some historical disparaging comments made in the past.
This angered Trump who became menacing, according to Morgan who cunningly saved the interview saying “I would love to talk about your recent hole in one, as Ernie Els was raving about it.”
That was like offering a child a big ice cream as Morgan asked if it was Trump’s first ace.
“No, I’ve had seven. Although thinking it implausible Morgan was not going to question it given the atmosphere and simply congratulated the modest Trump on his “amazing achievement.” I guess all that is left is to wonder if it is a “believe it or not” story. — By Neville Idour.
