What a big weekend lies ahead for Kiwi golf fans. Topping the bill of course is the venerable 150th Open at St Andrews. Ryan Fox is feeling confident given hi good form. Don’t be misled by his low placing in the Scottish Open at a course he says he has yet to work out how to play. He has played St Andrews 30 times and knows it well.  Queenstowner Ben Campbell is also excited to be there and he tees off early.

Meanwhile in Austria at the Euram Bank Open Daniel Hillier and Josh Geary are in action.

Also in Europe Momoka Kobori will have her first start on the Ladies European Tour in the Netherlands at the Big Green Egg Open playing for 250,000 Euros instead of the 40,000 or so on the LetAccess Tour. Her two wins on that tour have certainly given her year a boost.

In the US Nick Voke has another start on the Epson Tour at the Memorial Health Championship. He is in need of a top finish soon to have a shot at the PGA Tour. Also in the US on the Womens All Pro Tour WAPT, Julianne Alvarez is well placed after an excellent first round 68 for tied second.
