The ridiculous war between the PGA and DP World Tours on one side and LIV Golf continues unabated. Patrick Reed who has an honorary life membership to the DP World Tour for his ongoing loyalty in playing in Europe for many years has been removed from the Scottish Open field this weekend. Reed who has been banned from the PGA Tour said he would now be able to play more in Europe and add more value to that tour. No such luck.

He may well now be part of the group of LIV golfers taking legal action against the DP World Tour in a bid to overturn their banning from the Scottish Open. The Tour has not responded to the players letter so it appears set to go to court without delay.

In other news Paul Casey is the latest signing while Ryder Cup Captain Henrick Stenson is now reported to be close to signing with LIV Golf according to The Times and Handicap..54.

Paul McGinley has had his tuppence worth saying he is not surprised Casey and De Chambeau have joined LIV citing their injury problems. Then adding it is all about the money and saying that there should be no double dipping on the tours they have left.
