Allan Scott Marlborough Women's Golf Tournament 2018

Entries for the 19th Allan Scott Marlborough Women’s Golf Tournament are now open on-line for       12, 13, 14, March 2018.   Marlborough Golf Club has a new website developed by dotgolf.  We’re proud to be one of the first of their sites to have on line entries for any NZ affiliated golfer.  This means entries can be completed with a couple of clicks for each day you wish to play.  If you do experience difficulties in entering then please e-mail jensen.pru@gmail.com   and include name, club and membership ID, days you wish to play,  if you require a trundler and if you wish to have a casual before you leave on Wednesday.

The Committee have been brainstorming to come up with new ideas and ways of making this tournament fun, functional and friendly for all the ladies who flock in from around the country.

The main route between Blenheim and Kaikoura is open, reducing the travel time considerably.  It also creates an opportunity for you to enjoy the new scenery along the coast line and appreciate the long hours of work that the hundreds of extra staff have put in to repair the road following the earthquake in November 2016.

The format for the three days is:

Monday:              Stableford – Three divisions

Welcome, nibbles and prize giving at club house

Tuesday:              4 Ball Best Ball – played with your partner

                              Prizes for best dressed pair

Prize giving with a touch of fun thrown in

Wednesday         Medal Round – Three divisions

Final prize giving and a casual meal at the club house

We have moved the Monday evening welcome and prize-giving to the clubhouse because of increasing number of players wishing to attend.  We therefore encourage our entrants to book in for lunch at the Twelve Trees Restaurant at Allan Scott Family Vineyard, Jacksons Road, Blenheim 03 572 7123 or https://www.allanscott.com before you leave home. By booking a table it is held for you so it you are running late from your golf – no problem.
