Waikato Juniors Bring Home the Ralph Cup

Waikato Juniors recently played for Ralph Cup. Waikato Team (Under 19's) Jakob Bird, Ryan Courtney, Hunter Ussher, Isaac Steel and Din Morrell for winning the Cup. This event is played for between Waikato, Northland, Bay of Plenty and Auckland Juniors and hosted this year by Northland Golf Club.

Weather played a big factor in this years event with the final day being called off due to heavy rain.  It came down to results on the 1st day of play to crown the winning team.  Waikato had 2 wins from 2 and being the only team on 4 points we took home the Cup which hasn’t been won by Waikato since 2013. 

Waikato beat Northland 3-1 in the morning, then a solid 4-0 win over Auckland in the afternoon.
