Seb Kyle and Nona Novacek were the winners of the Otago Age Group Champs held at Taieri Lakes recently.

Players battled heavy rain late in there rounds to make thing interesting yesterday.

In the U19 Section Seb Kyle held his game together best with a round of 74 to win over  Lewis Harper 78, Baxter Meder 3rd with 79.

Meder was pipped on count back by Isaac Hobbs for the Nett.

Central Otago’s  Noah Novacek had to dig deep to win the U16 section with round of 76, prevailing by 2 over Dunedin’s Kairangi Koni 78.

Anahera Koni had to best round in the U13 section with a pleasing round of 81 and 34 points

But not quite enough to win the section, that went to young Cory Holland from Clinton GC with 37 points on count back from Wanaka’s Raphael Anderson great effort considering they may have never played in rain like that.
